Due to the anticipated arrival of Hurricane Dorian, Pamlico County Schools will be closed for both students and staff on September 5 - 6, 2019.

Due to the anticipated arrival of Hurricane Dorian later this week, and in order for us to prepare Pamlico County Middle School for this storm, Wednesday, September 4th will be an Optional Workday for Pamlico County Schools’ staff, and there will be no school tomorrow for all students.

Due to high water on several roads in the county, Pamlico County Schools will operate on a Two Hour Delay Schedule on Monday December 10.

Due to icy road conditions, Pamlico County Schools will operate on a Three Hour Delay on Friday January 19.

The Pamlico County Board of Education has approved changes to the school calendar to address days missed due to recent inclement weather. (Read full story for details)
